Emma Pillion (Director)
Emma Pillion is a Corporate Member of the Irish Planning Institute (MIPI) and a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI). Emma Pillion is a professional planner who has in excess of 10 years’ experience in both private practice and in Local Government.

Emma previously worked in a private planning consultancy in the Midlands, with Sean Lucy & Associates Ltd. and as a town planner in Clare County Council prior to establishing her own practice in 2014.
Emma has specialised in enforcement and planning law, dealing in particular with quarry developments and the leisure industry. Other areas of interest include the commercial and industrial market, and the expansion of retail franchising into Ireland. Emma also contributes as a lecturer in planning and development to third level institutes as well as other courses and CPD events arranged by clients, corporate groups, institutes and organisations.
Emma has worked on significant legal cases as an expert witness up to High Court level and has a proven success rate. In addition major projects she has been involved in are the M6 Motorway Dublin to Galway Motorway – Compulsory Purchase Orders for land acquisition, Doonbeg Golf Club, Mount Temple Golf Club, the Kilrush Development Plan 2014-2020, and the Roadstone and Whelans Quarry Groups.
Emma is a Council Member of the Irish Planning Institute, who are the professional body representing professional planners engaged in physical, spatial and environmental planning in Ireland. The Council is the governing body of the Institute and is directly elected by the Members and each Council Member serves a term of 2 years. Emma is currently serving her 8thyear on the IPI Council.
